Hey guys Kai here, this thread is made to announce a tournament in collaboration with my friend Danny
. The tournament will be structured similar to the last GvG tournament of this server with prizes being in Myshop Points as well as Mileage Points. Now for some copy and paste magic...
This is an open tournament open to EVERYONE so long as you have a team leader and a total group of four (including team leader). It is recommended to make your own guild to represent your team and to enter in the tournament. The Teams will be of 4 but you can have fillers if someone can't make it so long as the fillers are not already in the tournament. I will not be competing because it is discourteous for a host to enter his own tournament. (*Subject to Change if not enough players, so invite your friends!*) Matches are first to 50 points and double elimination. *Double Elimination means that you still have a chance to win if you lose a round ie loser's bracket.* I will be using Challonge tournament bracket generator for this once I have a finalized list of entrants. First Brackets will begin as soon as deadline is arrived. Whoever signs up will fight no matter the number of contestants.
When : Sunday July 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time / 12:00 Noon Pacific Time ie the 12 Noon on the Playtrickster Site (Honored).
The tournament will be based on
Prize : 1st Place winner will get 100k Myshop and 500 Mileage Points
(Your team leader is responsible for the distribution of the points.)
2nd Place: 50k Myshop Points and 200 Mileage Points
3rd Place : 25k Myshop Points and 100 Mileage Points
Bonus: Just for entering you are eligible to receive 5k myshop points and and 25 mileage points!
Rules :
* Teams must consist of four players.
* Each Team must have a team NAME that you can list here so I can identify you. ie "TheBazaarBargains".
*Matches will be Team Match whoever reaches 50 points first wins and advances. Loser goes to loser's bracket if you loose in there you are outta the game!
* I will spectate all matches and if for some reason I get disconnected from a match at the end of a round then I will request the score from both team leaders. Any discrepancies found in scoring will be investigated and settled. (Just don't lie k?)
+ No scrolls in the tournament pls!! Fortune is OKAY. and no camping but you already know that.
Anyone who disregards these rules will be disqualified immediately(You won't even finish your match).
Think you got the cajones to enter? If so post the characters you want to enter with their EXACT in game name and the name of your team and your team leader. Questions and concerns? PM ME! If not then start posting your teams and team leaders! Spectators are welcome to attend. (Especially if you can record this that would be great cause I can't.
