Scan for virus Regularly, Scan Malware

Disable your antivirus before the Download

(I heard some people who couldn't download the game because of their anti virus)

Once you have done to download the game

 

DON'T FORGET TO DISABLE YOUR ANTIVIRUS IF YOU DIDN'T DISABLE IT YET OR PUT IT ON EXCLUSION FOLDER.

 

1) Extract the folder to your desktop

2) Extract the Manual Patch to the Game Folder

 

3) If you downloaded the Game by Torrent, create the Folder " PlayTricksterS2 " Then you can extract 

 

4) Create a folder named " Leatrix Latency " in your rTo Folder then extract the Leatrix files on it

 

First thing to do before running the Splash.exe

 

Right Click on Splash.exe ==>Properties ==>Compatibility ==> Run Compatibility as "Windows XP (Service Pack 3) or Windows 7 ( if you use W8)"

Go down to Privileges and click Run as Administrator

 

Apply

 

No need to do those manipulation if you're W10 user, Run your game as admin only.

 

 

Open your Leatrix Latency folder then install it

 

You can run the Splash.exe now to update the game

 

If everything work well when you've done updating your game, restart your computer to apply Leatrix

If you have WTFast you can run it directly.

 

For Windows 10 users, Run the game as admin then do a check files.

 

Enjoy The Game Now.

I'm still having a problem, Splash does work but when I push Start Game it just does close and the game doesn't get to pop... I tried changing to compatibility Win XP SP3, then running as admin (Both together) and then de-activating my antivirus and firewall (Each one and both then).

I got to run the game one time, the first time I did this all, but wouldn't work anymore... I'm playing on Win8

By default, it should go to your Program Files folder in your C drive.

Right click your splash.exe and hit Open File Location, and it should tell you the exact location in which rTO was installed to.

i have a problem when im starting the launcher at the launcher is always connecting update server or sometimes updating filelist i waited 20 mins but nothing happened and i cant extract the manual patch and i dont know what to do now

i have windows 7  32Bit

Did you follow all step before running the  luncher?
Try to restart your computer then retry

Download then installe Winrar to extract the manual patch

(I don't know what you mean when you say you can't extract the Manual Download >O>)

 

Try downloading the manual patch from the website, drag and replace the files in the trickster folder then use Trickster.exe to open instead of splash. Make sure you are running it as an Admin.

The manual patch is the same as on the website.
Just run it as admin then be patient

What about players with ubuntu? Trickster doesnt seem to pass update on launcher..I downloaded all manual patches and still trys to go thru update. Anyone have ant ideas? would like the help

Help, my splash.exe doesn't start the game and when I try to launch the manual patch it says something like "The windows can not access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." and the file is deleted. I tried the Trickster.bat, it worked for a while, but now the trickster.bin keeps being deleted and I can't use this method anymore (I already made the file an exception on avast). I followed all the steps here and it doesn't work either.

I just download Leatrix Latency to my computer, open the folder, run & install it while it remains inside my Downloads folder. In my laptop, I put the Leatrix Latency folder inside my rTO folder. I actually don't see any difference as to where you actually put the Leatrix folder as long as it is installed in your computer.
