Players, please don't sell/buy items or MS for real money in this server. Please do not advertise for such things. Don't whisper such things. You will get reported. See examples below. Players engaging in such activities can get banned. And you can get into a lot of troubles if people "scam" you. So please don't do it. There is no recourse for you if you got scammed and we will not help you to sort out any issue on this kind of thing.

i think there should be a reward system for this type of thing.

a reward for reporting players transacting and advertising, this would help spread the fact that its illegal.

@BunnyLarua i think "reward" is unhealthy to the game, i'm not say they are bad people out there, but it is a possibility that "reward"
can encourage fake evidence; photoshop and etc. And conflict are exsist even in this game i have seen it.

it's a responsibility that we as community should help watch out for those rule breaker from the start. To keep this game happy place and toxic free.

the admins can easily check that through the logs, so theres really no issue in confirming the evidence.

 

as for being "unhealthy" it depends on the reward, basically if the reward is something like a "i'll forward your suggestion for the next patch" then there won't be any abuses.

at the moment suggestions and requests are mostly based on lottery and on Aran's mood, e.g. some random people's request for next boxes would be on next patch.

 

two other rewards i could think of is being on a hall-of-fame community-role-model list on the main website page.

and being able to suggest your own choice of color-edition for a skin, though you'd still need to buy it from webshop.

yes, but having a proper reward system would increase the rate at which the information spreads.

as one would know, a lot of people simply ignores the rules and doesn't even read them before joining the community.

 

plus incentives would also increase the number of users that would actively report.

i mean take for example those illegal messages posted in party-board, its blatantly obvious yet hardly anyone reports it.

i'm willing to bet most of the users who sees them would think "someone else would report it" so they don't even bother.

 

so converting that thought process "someone else would report it" into "i'll be the first one to report it" can only be done with incentives.

Unfortunately, rewards would warrant starting problems with other

players. Know that we do greatly appreciate when these things are

reported, but the only reward you can expect is being seen in a

good light to the staff and community

Pardon me, but there's just way too much more work for the admins to approach to other than backreading through the logs; just imagine how much players there are in game and all the actions we do that are being recorded in a day or two or a week. You could say that it's given for the admins to take care of investigating reports since in the first place we have the right to report offensive/cheating players, but it should be also given that we, as responsible players, should be vigilant as well. Particularly in this case.

I feel like even a "role model" page would also be a little

too much, in sense of bragging rights. After rereading the

board, we do look at every player's suggestions and consider it, this

is why that idea won't work.

 

We do like your input, but I think having rewards contradicts a

genuine player (one that would report regardless). Incentive is

nice, but moral code is much better
