There was a LOT of messages from different players sent to inboxes regarding it, and also some discussion in-game. The scroll seemed to create more issues than it solved, so it was removed. Not many non-PvP players used it. It may come back, it may not, you never know.

I use the Scroll of the Resolute all the time and I don't pvp at all. Please dont take it away just b/c of whats happening in pvp.  my harkon protect friends all use this scrolls as well, esp during hecate wave.  the scroll is really helpful and we really want it back.  this scroll has always been in trickster game since the release of recycle machine  in eTO. if its not a problem in eTO, why remove it in our server here just due to some pvper' complaints? please give some love to non-pvper'  =(

How were we supposed to reply to that and say we do use them if we didn't know it was being discussed?

Is there some kind of statistics about how many players use them outside of PvP?

Lol, I know you guys are trying to avoid discussions and complainings and such, but making a change in the game without having everyone know about it isn't a good idea.

Maybe you should start making polls/votings.

I currently don't have the option to retrieve my Poppouri awards. I see the 4 stages we gotten but no way to get them.

Those of you who have asked that Scroll of Resolute be removed (you know who you are!!!), please reply to those people who are asking that Scroll of Resolute be put back in the game. And stop sending private messages about it and claiming pvpers will leave the game and the game will die because pvpers are the people who keep the game alive through their constant buying of MyShop to constantly better their equips, etc, etc, etc.

I think I know what I did wrong... I opened all the boxes on one of my characters that had over 1200 boxes before getting the rewards... oh well, the rewards didn't really interest me anyway. My other character has less than 1000.

since you increase the drop rate of quest items in abyss, why not apply it on most of maps, cus some of us players(including me) are having a hard time collecting it and takes almost 1week to gather them. please consider this msg

 

 

You want to propose something, make it specific. Name the item (or items) with correct name and provide ggftw link for it, if any. State where is the quest that require that item. General suggestion that does not state any specific thing DO NOT GET FURTHER ATTENTION.

Hey, I know some people were complaining about the higher exp rates and that they wanted lower rates... but I think many people, myself included, would rather have those higher exp rates.

 

(I'm just speaking on my own behalf,  but if you agree or disagree, please do say so.)

 

I started on this private server simply because of the higher rates.

I agree that the original trickster was fun, but I do not wish to relive those times exactly. The leveling process was very tedious and I love having the chance to jump levels and then relax for a few days and just chat, walk around,and boss. The leveling process was definitely more relaxed and fun than in eTO... stupid quests . With the exp nerf, now everyone will have to once again, go through the dreaded quests of mermaid, ghost blue, rose... etc.

 

Most of the people I talk to agree that a lot of the quests are not very rewarding.

 

Secondly, the nerf in the exp rate would, if anything, PROMOTE power leveling. In eTO, I personally did power level people at various level ranges. With a perm 150 dragon at kerbs and with a lv 2xx at bears. There will always be power leveling. If the leveling process is harder, then the rich will be MORE inclined to buy power leveling. I think the exp rates were perfect as they were in the previous patch.

 

In the list of reasons why people play, there was a lot of mention of nostalgia. I agree... trickster was my favorite mmorpg of all time and I kept coming back to it, time after time. But the main reason I left was due to the slow leveling process... I quite enjoyed the grinding at CT in rTO instead of doing quests. And since leveling is easier, I could do more of the things I enjoyed such as bossing, just chilling and chatting with guildies (SHOUT OUT TO MUSIC!!), and other general merriment.

 

TL;DR: Please reconsider this exp nerf! D: I liked it the way it was with the exp as it was, people could quest if they so desire and go at their own pace, or they could decide to forgo the quests and just grind. But regardless, they had an option. With the nerf, it seems you are pushing people to do quests, even if they dread doing them. I realize that as a private server there will always be discontent, but my vote is for removing the exp nerf!

However; regarding the removal of the Scroll of Resolute, why not just disable its use in pvp?

Not possible to disable the use of that scroll only in PVP. That was what was proposed to GM. It could not be done.

Also, once you get to a certain level, there aren't many quests you can do. I only got up to 22x in eTO (took me years, and this was before Chaos Tower was even released) and would've liked to reach 300 on this server, but idk anymore if the exp nerf isn't reverted. Most people play multiple characters too and it's tedious to go through those levels all over again. If anything, the exp nerf discourages me from leveling.

 

Oh, and encouraging more questing will also encourage more AFK drilling for drilled quest items

It seems as though accessories/inners from gacha towns aren't showing up in your MS inventory properly? I've drilled the accessories/inners from the Hunter Yuna town and Item Girl town multiple times, and I haven't received any of them.
