In celebration of the upcoming Eid ul Fitr festival expected to be on Sunday, May 24th, 2020, we are having the following bonus and discount:

50% discounts of expander items as follows:

 

Patron Marks of Hephaestus: 2000 pts -- > 1000 pts

Super Special Akuaregia of Nate (which can be used to expand both legendary and normal equips): 2000 pts -- > 1000 pts

Azoto of God: 1500 pts -- > 750 pts

In game, the prices still shows the original prices but if you clicked "Buy", the discounted prices will be shown.

The MS 20% bonus is awesome but the dolar ratio is astonishingly bad. If the ratio were proportional for every country (emerging economy or first world) I would be so happy. It seems a bit unfair, specially because I want to donate but the cost of 1k MS points for me is more expensive than dolar based (or any other strong money currency) countries.

 

I am leaving it here on behalf of the Brazilian community. I don't want anything in exchange though, just bringing it to discuss about that subject.

The bonus were brought up exactly for this reason. I've showed the staff a few comparison about how expensive is it for brazilians. I have used even real state office dates for that showing rent prices as example. I am also sad but nothing can be done here.

no.1 is just to open up the option to buy from USD, i'm not sure if other countries get this option.

 

As for no.2:

At the time of writing

 

GBP to USD is 1:1.21675

When you pay using bank debit/credit cards / payal, they tack on admin charges etc. which lowers your exchange by 3-5%. (i remember paypal used to get me by 7-8% a few years ago on guild wars 2...).

 

Revolut on the other hand doesn't have admin fees etc. they do the exchange for "virtually free", looking at my Revolut the exchange rate is GBP 1: USD 1.2165.

 

So say if i exchange 10 GBP to USD using credit card/etc, i would get $12.1675*0.95= $11.56 (60 cents loss assuming 5% loss)

Using Revolut i get the whole $12.165 (less than 1 cent loss)

 

When you pay anything using Revolut you just need to make sure they charge you for the seller's currency. So revolut does the conversion rather than your bank/visa/paypal.

I agree. I often think about donating to get some points, but soon change my mind after seeing the currency discrepancy between countries. while 1 dollar is worth 3000 points 1 real (our currency) is worth 500 points on average.

 

I know that currency appreciation between countries is different and I am not against that. However, I believe that if it somehow made this more "fair" it would generate more donations from other countries and thus more profit and help for the maintenance of the server.
