I played Trickster Online years ago. I was super young and I absolutely loved it. It wasn't my first MMO but it was defiantly my favorite and most played early on. I'd given up on playing it again then my fiance looked it up on a whim a few weeks ago and turned to me like, "what are you talking about? It pops up if you just google it." I screamed. I literally screamed, "WHAT?!" Fastest download of an mmo I've ever done lol

 

I'm curious though, who owns this game now? Did someone just buy it and decide to put it up again? Are you working with old files you found somehow and just keeping the game online? Are you actually able to take in money from the cash shop from players? (I ask and wonder because I would like to buy some things in game if I actually can.) How is it going for you? Is there any way people can help contribute to you keeping it alive and open or are you just interested in keeping the game like it is now and with whatever amount of players you have now?

 

I've seen Trickster Online bounce from one site's ownership to another and now that I've found it again, I feel this undying need to know, it's been bugging me for weeks haha.

SGI Interactive sold it to GameRage or whatever, which then drove it to the ground by making it heavily reliable on $$$, closed it down when it wasn't making enough $$$ and some months later this server was made, it's a private server but it might as well be the official one. 

long story short,

this is owned by some normal people

translated the game from thai/korean files i believe

How you have seen, it is not eTO anymore. The official server closed. This server started 1 year after the death of eTO, it is a different server, a player bought the filles and started it. He's now our GM.  You might see that we have different files here, for example, you gonna find equips from the servers: English, Japanese, Korean and Thai server (Generally its in the equip, for example: [JP]Count Blood 300  it is a pet from japanese server). You can not buy extreme items directly from GM, but you can donate to the server, basically youre going to buy MyShop points. It's exacly like eTO. You can find the donate option in playtrickster site.

Can't ever find a better or alternative MMO to this. I've tried them all!

Ntreev still owns the IP.  LINE would most likely have the global publishing rights now. Other candidates include NCsoft, Nexon, and ex-publisher Smilegate.  NCsoft should just provide the funding for a properly-maintained, global Trickster legacy server so that future generations may enjoy this wonderful game.
