As always, if this is in the wrong spot please feel free to move it. I'm doing one dedicated thread for this so that I can more easily track what I've reported versus what's been noted as fixed/won't fix.
 So! Card Girl. Gives quests for TM experience and arcana cards. Her dialogue is all over the place in terms of how easy it is to understand. Most of us just use guides for what cards are needed anyway, but it's probably better to fix the dialogue anyway.

GOALS:
- This is ONLY for the dialogue when talking to Card Girl.
- Make all of her dialogues readable.
- Make the hints in her dialogue match the hints in the quest log.

I'm going to go through and do this one region at a time when I officially propose the rewrites. I can get most of the dialogue myself, but I can't easily get all of the Quest Accepted or Here's Your Reward dialogues. If you would like to contribute, please post a screencap of Card Girl's Dialogue when you accept a quest, along with the riddle as it appears in your quest log. Please also state the region and which cards you turned in for reference purposes.
 
I don't need the dialogue from after you turn in the cards since they're identical to if you've already completed the riddle, and I can get most of those (I haven't finished Tapasco Spa's specific card quests yet)

Card Girl: "Do you know about the Card Hunter? He's a professional who travels the world looking for cards with unusual powers. He's very interested in cards from Caballa Island, which is why I started the Card Collection Center! Will you help me collect cards for him?"
Player: "Yes, I will help"

Card Girl: "The cards to collect are scattered all over Caballa Island, and I'm not sure how to find them... Aria, the Card Hunter's Assistant, gave me some clues about the cards. But she gave me riddles, and I don't understand them enough... Do you think you can solve these riddles?"
Player: "Tell me one of the riddles."

Card Girl: "Aria gave me five riddles in all. Which one do you want to hear?"

I don't need the dialogue from when you turn in the cards since they're identical to if you've already completed the riddle, and I can get most of those (

1. I can't get the Abyss ones

2. and haven't fiinished Tapasco Spa's specific card quests yet)

1. theres no Card Girl in Abyss

2. does it mean that you need "turn in" dialogue (TM xp, reward, ...)?

1) I keep forgetting that Abyss doesn't have card quests.
2) I do need the Turn In dialogue for completeness purposes, yes. That's what I meant by the "Here's your reward" dialogue. There's probably other incidental dialogue branches that I can't think of yet, more than likely a "You don't have the required cards yet" thing.

We can test by asking GM to make a Card Girl for Abyss. 

 

Why don't you guys suggest the cards and the riddles?

Another suggestion: How about Phantom School?

 

The card quests there have never been updated, not even in eTO.

 

Maybe can put in 2 more cards there as well?

Krybeth, Skelefish and Phantom Dame Cards are for mastering skills, so i would rather use the rest:

I'm okay with making Egg Spectre a card quest, but I'd want to suggest some other annex monster for the fifth quest to encourage grinding exploration there. Do we want them to be super high reward on the TM like other PS cards, or are we gonna end up suggesting a full rebalance of the Phantom School rewards?

 

I'll look up those Abyss monsters to get a feel for what kind of riddles I can make out of them.

when i was doing Card quest 2 at GDB:

i have the card, talking to Card girl

after choosing 2nd option (The 2nd riddle), this will appear:

"The second but I secret also was found in The message of The Aria! wonterful! Please receive a gift from me!"

 

after rejecting the reward:

"My gift will be needed later always. You regret surely later if its not received?"
